Job Craze!!!

She was quite beautiful and looked gullible at first sight, but wasn't. The world revolved around her and she never had a problem getting whatever she wanted. All she needed to do was coo and smile and bat her eyelids, and like molten rock of a lava, expelled by a volcanic eruption, everything melted for her and her wish was done!
This went on all through her freshman year, sophomore year, junior year till her senior year, she indeed ruled her world. Then, there came the compulsory 1 year NYSC orientation, where everyone blended from different facets of life, to wear the Almighty white-on-white and later on, white-on-khaki. She still was able to use her charm to get her way through situation. A year passed and she was in the labour market, but unfortunately, her wits didn't do much for her now.
Then it started happening, she started getting text messages for job interviews in places she never sent a CV!

Then the one that shocked her, which she almost fell for was Hi, my name is Obichie Emeka Henry, we met at orientation camp, LA/14R/0007, if you want to work in SHELL, call me 08140431412, Tank. (as in GP tank for storing water lol)
Where she was made to call a number of a supposed ' chairman' Engineer Charles, as he claimed was his name. He gave her sweet castles in the air claim of a start up salary of N350,000 and she was already having dreamy eyes, building her castles in the air, when he demanded her to pay N18,900 for a 'form' that was remaining just 3, due to its high demand and rush , according to him that is. This form was supposed to guarantee one's placement in the firm, lol! Who ever heard of an oil and gas firm demanding payment for job placement? Then it dawned on her, she was being scammed! She abruptly hung up on the phone and deleted all contacts linked with it.
Her head hung low as she walked on slowly, she wasn't looking as she was filled with sadness, disappointment and a little disgust. "Young lady, watch where you're going" "So sorry sir, I have a lot on my mind, I'm in need of a job" She looked up quickly, he was an old man, well dressed and quite astute in carriage and character. " You're too young to be thinking like this, you could have been brushed aside by someone careless. Here's my card, send your CV to the email on it, I'll see what I can do to help you" " Thank you sir"
Days turned to weeks, weeks to months and months to a year, she's gainfully employed in his digital media company, doing successfully. She remnicised about her bad ol' days, lol!
Have you been a victim of wicked job scams? Please enlighten us on their tactics, as to be informed! Mine was quite recent, thank God I didn't fall...
